Rovinj is a city in Croatia; the sun shines more than 10 hours a day from the middle of May to the Middle of September. After the fall of Venice, the Napoleonic Parenthis, Rovinj became part of the Austrian Empire until World War 1. Rovink then belonged to Italy between 1918 and 1947.
Monvi is the local entertainment hub of Rovinj which has an open air theatre, numerous disco bars, a night club, a pizzeria as well as a Mexican restaurant. Lining Rovinj’s waterfront is Riva; with bars, restaurants and ice cream parlours. During August Rovinj hosts Grisia; an art fair where local and international artists exhibit their work on the cobbled streets for all to see.
