Gravdal is a village in Vestvågøy municipality in the county of Nordland, located on Vestvågøy Island.
The village is situated in the geographical middle of the Lofoten by the sea in the Buksnes bay. Gravdal, although increasingly populous, has gone from being a small trade centre on the island, once encompassing four different grocery stores, and at some point a postal office, a bank, a fashion boutique, a furniture shop, a flower shop, an architect's office, a hotel, a cinema, a casual dining restaurant and a fast food restaurant, to becoming mostly a residential village. Today only one grocery store remains, as Gravdal's neighbouring town Leknes has become the municipality centre of administration and trade. The main attractions are the varied landscapes that extend across the Arctic Circle. It is famous for its fjord-indented coastline and its mountains, ski resorts, lakes and woods.
