Itinerary

Tour Start time is flexible to fit in with cruise ship arrivals.

Your tour starts in the centre of this amazing town and almost immediately you will be struck by the beauty of this historic place. You will visit architectural wonders such as St Mark’s Cathedral which was designed by Gustav Eiffel, yes the one and the same Eiffel that designed the famous tower in Paris!  This building stands apart from its neighbours and it takes on an almost regal appearance amongst its modern companions. It is easy to appreciate why this building has become a national monument!

You will then travel to southern coast where the stunning El Laucho and La Lisera beaches await.

These provide the best places to bathe in Arica with clear waters and white sand, it is as close to paradise as you can imagine. The tour does not end here though as you will continue on to visit a traditional fishing village, fishing contributes greatly to the economy in Arica and you will be able to see for yourself how this industry still flourishes before you journey onwards to the next stage of the tour. This takes you to the Azapa Valley where Geoglyph’s have been carved into the hillside by ancient tribes.

We will stop at the world renowned San Miguel de Azapa Archaeological Museum where you will be immersed in the history of the Andeans before we head back to port. On the return journey you will have the opportunity to purchase souvenirs at a local village before our final stop at the top of the Morro de Arica which is a very large hill overlooking the bay giving majestic views of the city!

This tour has something for everyone to enjoy!
