Itinerary

This tour is approximately between 3 and 4 hours in duration in order to suit the ship's arrival and departure time.

You will be met at the port by our representative holding our Cruising Excursions logo ready to commence your tour.

Starting at Fort Charlotte onto The Botanical Gardens – the oldest of its kind in the Western Hemisphere.  The tour continues via the Leeward Highway pointing out places of interest while passing through the small towns and fishing villages onto Buccament and then to the first town on the leeward side of the island which is Layou.

Then journey down to the central leeward highway, to the largest town and parish capital, the town of Barrouallie is known for its skilful fishing and is considered to be the home of the blackfish, with its rich oil which are being used as a medicine for a bad Cole, for skin rashes and cooking/frying .

We then head to Wallilabou Anchorage, visiting the location used for filming of the movie “Pirates of the Caribbean part one " The Black Pearl", and part two three years later “A Dead Man's Chess".

Wallilabou is a prime location on main land St. Vincent where by, when sailors are visiting or moving through the islands, it is used as a sheltered anchorage, because of its calm water in the bay, the Yachties find refuge there.

In addition, there is also the Mt. Wayne Beach, reputed to be one of the best Black Sand Beaches in St.Vincent.  The shallow water reefs where you can see a large various amount of ocean critters, in beautiful clear crystal blue waters to swim in the fantasy of ocean life. This beach got its black surface due to the eruptions of the Volcano and the settlement of the volcanic soil. Because it is situated on the leeward end of the island, where most of the volcanic soil ran off the sloops of the mountains and caused the beautiful landscape.

After, you will also head to Peter's Hope, one of the recognized heritage sites, also air marked for tourism development project, which in a year or two, Peter's Hope will be home to a beautiful construction called the Peters Hope Resort. This is a panoramic only no stop.

At the end of the tour, you will be taken back to the port in plenty of time in advance prior to your ship’s departure.
