The cradle of the Renaissance, home to wonderful works of art loved the world over. Michelangelo, Giotto, Botticelli, Della Robbia, Pontormo just to name a few.

Florence is an art and culture lover’s paradise. However, this charming Tuscan city with a population of just 400,000 offers so much more. You can pass an entire holiday in Florence without entering a museum and still go home fulfilled.

The ochre or terracotta hue that the streets and roofs take when seen from the various panoramic view points above the city in the morning or evening light are unique.

The narrow cobbled viuzze, tiny medieval streets, the enchanting artisan shops in the left bank area which still hand craft and produce their goods, the tempting gelateria with every flavour and colour of ice-cream under the sun topped with whole fresh fruits, the elegant boutiques and trendy individual shops, the quiet understated elegance of the real Florentine inhabitants all lend to an unrepeatable experience.

From our open top buses, you will be a privileged observer to all of this and more. This spring has seen the arrival of bright new buses to start the new route to Fiesole, the Etruscan hill town just a few kilometres out of Florence which no trip to the city would be complete without visiting.

As well as the stunning panoramic views over the Tuscan countryside the opportunity for cultural visits are well worth the trip. The Roman amphitheatre, the Cathedral, the Civic Museum, to name just a few and of course the splendid paths and trails which lend themselves so well for trekking or strolling.

This is an ideal itinerary for relaxing after the hustle and bustle of the city. Sit back and let your driver slowly take you along the winding country roads. The sunset is especially magical and quite romantic!

City Sight Seeing Buses - Can wheelchair users travel on your buses?
SOME/ALL of our buses are accessible to users of most kinds of wheelchair depending upon the location. Only wheelchairs which are too large for the space, or which are in an unsafe condition cannot be brought onto our buses. All of our wheelchair spaces accommodate wheelchairs up to 700 mm wide, 1200 mm long and 1350 mm high (that measurement includes the wheelchair user's head above the backrest)
If your wheelchair is larger than this or you are unsure whether your wheelchair will fit on the bus, please contact us.
SOME/ALL of our buses have electric ramps, low flat floors and a wheelchair space depending upon the location. Wheelchair users have priority for access to the wheelchair space and other passengers must move to make it available when a wheelchair user needs it. However, we can't guarantee that all passengers will move from the wheelchair space when asked, nor ultimately, can we force them to do so. Our buses cannot safely accommodate two or more occupied wheelchairs, so if there is already a wheelchair user on the bus you want to board, unfortunately you'll need to wait for the next bus.
Wheelchair users and / or their carers must ensure that the wheelchair is positioned against the seat backrest facing the rear of the bus with the brakes ON. Please ask the driver for assistance if necessary.
Wheelchair users can use the bell push near the wheelchair space which lets the driver know that the ramp must be lowered at the next stop.
Please note: our prices include £2.00 administration fee
IMPORTANT: This tour does not include transfers from Livorno harbour to Florence centre or the other way around. You will have to make your own way towards Florence (either via taxi or train) and locate the nearest City-Sightseeing Bus Stop and get back to your ship before departure.
